Opening of Registration for the Violet Card

The Cuauhtémoc City Hall has announced the opening of registration for the social program of the Violeta Card, which is aimed at women who take care of minors, people with disabilities, or elderly adults. The financial support consists of 15,000 pesos distributed in three deposits and will focus on women residing in any of the 33 neighborhoods in Mexico City.

Interested parties can register at the Covered Esplanade of the Cuauhtémoc City Hall, located at Calle Juan Aldama s/n, Buenavista, from February 25 to 28, from 9:00 AM to 2:30 PM. It is important to highlight that certain requirements must be met to participate in the program.

Women interested in obtaining the Violeta Card must meet requirements such as being of legal age, residing in one of the 33 neighborhoods of the Cuauhtémoc City Hall, being caretakers of the mentioned individuals, not being a beneficiary of another social program, having a fixed address, participating in two 'Violeta Health Days,' and accepting the application of a socioeconomic study and home visits.

To complete the registration, it is necessary to present the application for admission, official identification (INE) in original and copy, updated CURP with QR code, proof of address not older than three months, as well as documents of the person under care such as birth certificate (in the case of minors), updated CURP and medical certificate in cases of disability.

The social program aims to recognize and financially support these women who perform caregiving tasks in the community, providing them with economic relief and promoting their well-being. The Violeta Card will offer financial support and health services to one thousand women dedicated to caring for individuals in vulnerable situations.
